Tutoring
Tutoring Services offers free academic support, online and on-campus, to currently enrolled students. Tutors assist with course content and also model critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help students develop essential competencies including time management, study planning, note taking, and reduce test anxiety.
Appointments are available in a wide variety of subjects and can be made through Navigate. Math tutoring occurs in Math Central+ and writing support in the Writing Studio.

Math Central+
Math Central+ provides tutoring and support for students at Reynolds.
Qualified faculty and peer tutors offer a variety of techniques to support students through developmental and credit-level math, physics, and engineering courses. Whether students need help with a single homework assignment or ongoing support through course completion, MathCentral+ tutors provide important tools for success and offer encouragement along the way:
- Registration assistance for mathematics courses
- Registration and usage of software required in many courses
- Walk-in and one-on-one appointments (virtual and in-person)
- Group help sessions
Peer tutors are students who have completed college-level courses and have been recommended by our instructors to work in Math Central+.

Writing Studio
The Writing Studio helps students communicate ideas more effectively through every stage of the writing process, providing:
- Writing consultants
- English language support
- Independent and collaborative workspaces
- Mindfulness room
In-person and virtual appointments can be made using Navigate, and open studio hours are available at both campus locations:

Early Alerts
Early Alerts is a program that helps struggling students avoid long-term academic and financial aid issues. Students receive an email through this initiative and will also be contacted by an advisor who can provide additional resources and assistance.

Computer Access
Computers, loaner laptops, and a wide range of software applications are available to Reynolds students, with support provided by Department of Technology staff.

Laptop Lending
Reynolds makes a limited number of laptops available to be loaned to assist students that may have challenges completing their courses online. Laptops are available to those student applicants with the greatest need, while supplies last.
