PURPOSE
The Health Sciences Associate of Science (AS) degree is for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in a health science program such as public health, community health or kinesiology.
STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Demonstrate ability to provide collaborative care
- Demonstrate basic lab skills
- Apply scientific method and related principles to make informed decisions and engage with issues related to health environments
- Practice professional behaviors in order to provide quality care and best practices in the healthcare setting

- General college curricular admission
