STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Students will learn and understand the various roles individuals assume within a group such as leadership, support, and decision-making roles, and develop the skills to navigate and balance these roles for successful collaboration.
Students will learn and demonstrate knowledge of the human services field including its history, purpose, and key services and roles. Students will be able to understand the needs that key services and roles address and explain the importance of advocacy.
Students will acquire effective communication skills, such as active listening, interviewing strategies, and documentation, to engage with diverse client groups.
