INT 133 - ASL-to-English Interpretation ICredit Hours: 3 Provides students the opportunity to begin consecutively interpreting monologues from the source language (ASL) to the target language (English); watch, process, and analyze entire ASL monologues; choose appropriate English to match the message; and eventually interpret the monologue into English. Puts interpreting theory into practice in a lab environment. Develops team interpreting techniques and provides students with the opportunity to interact with consumers of ASL-English interpretation and conduct research in the field of interpretation.
