OPT 273 - Contact Lens ICredit Hours: 3 Introduces basic concepts and techniques of contact lens fitting, design, materials, and nomenclature. Covers basic slit lamp, keratometry, and contact lens insertion and removal techniques. Part I of III.
Lecture Hours: Lecture 2 hours per week. Recitation and Laboratory Hours: Laboratory 2 hours per week. Semester(s) Offered: Summer Only Prerequisites: OPT 105 or equivalent. Notes: An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course.
